On Aug. 23, 2019, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin paid a working visit to the Aktobe region.
The prime minister got acquainted with the work of the Aktobe ferroalloy plant. He was shown a unique project, which employs people with disabilities. Workers directly conduct round-the-clock monitoring of safety at the factory.
Askar Mamin visited the Voskhod field in Khromtau. The total investment in the company amounted to 65 billion tenge.
In the Baiganin district, the prime minister visited the Gas Processing Company LLP plant, which was commissioned in December 2018.
The next object of the visit was the Zhanazhol Gas Processing Plant of JSC SNPS-Aktobemunaigas. The company employs more than 1.5 thousand people.
Askar Mamin held a working meeting on the observance of labor rights and the development of the oil and gas industry in the Zhanazhol plant with the participation of heads of state bodies, oil and gas sector enterprises and trade unions.
As part of a working trip, Askar Mamin familiarized himself with the progress of the construction of the Aktobe-Atyrau-Border of the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) highway. It is planned that in 2019, 148.2 km of road will be open for traffic on the territory of the Aktobe region.
After that, the Head of Government examined the progress of reconstruction of the South Bypass of Aktobe highway. The road will provide a detour of transit vehicles around Aktobe, the possibility of traveling from the Samara-Shymkent republican highway to the Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan highway and exit to the Western Europe-Western China transport corridor to ensure a complete transit detour of Aktobe.
Askar Mamin also visited the multifunctional roadside service complex of IBG Catering LLP. The project cost is 500 million tenge.
Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspected the Nur Atakbe microdistrict under construction. Until the end of this year, it is planned to provide housing for 410 large families in Aktobe and the districts of the region.
Within the framework of the working trip, the head of Government visited the Koktas-Aktobe construction materials factory, which will be commissioned soon.
Askar Mamin also got acquainted with the work of the Global Overalls clothing factory. Every year the company produces 250 thousand products.
At the end of his working trip, the prime minister, to inspect the implementation of agricultural investment projects in the region, visited the Aktobe Meat Cluster LLP meat processing plant and the Ais LLP dairy farm. Askar Mamin also got acquainted with the investment projects of the agro-industrial complex of Aktobe region.
